Friday, Deb Martin visited our sixth period photo class to check out business cards. Our teacher gave us the assignment a week before and I finished mine within a few days. Basically, she gave us the creative freedom to create a business card that was "contemporary and traditional" and fit the size and bleed requirements. After checking them out, she picked seven favorites and awarded them with either a gift card from Starbucks or iTunes. Unfortunately, neither of my two designs were picked. I found that her "top two" favorites were much more business appropriate and, in my opinion,
extremely safe. I didn't think that the designs they made were creative. Nonetheless, it's what Deb liked, and at the end of the day, I didn't make what she wanted.
On to the next!
 |
| Little Caesar's pepperoni pizza, cookies, chips, and coke for the get together. |
 |
| By far the best white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie I've ever had via Albertson's! |
Friday night, I was asked to make dinner with what we had in the fridge. Kept it super simple and grilled filet mignon with salad on the side.
 |
| Romaine |
 |
| When I get to college, I definitely need to invest in one of these for myself. |
 |
| Salad topper! |
 |
| Filet Mignon |
 |
| Also, I finally got my free toms bracelet in the mail. Thanks, Blake! |
Lastly, these two pictures have to be two of some of my favorite things in this world! I love Dove
anything, from shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, to chocolate. Well. Maybe not their chocolate, but you get the gist of what I mean. Anyway, prior to church yesterday, I ended up opening a new package of Cool Melon Dove deodorant and just
had to snap a picture of the Dove. The last picture has to be my favorite way to eat chicken—
salt and pepper garlic chicken. Nomz to the umpteenth degree. Baon tomorrow?
Food has definitely been something I've depended on in the past to help me feel better. Hell, I still use it to this day to calm my nerves and alleviate whatever's stressing me out. Nonetheless, I'm getting better at not using it as an outlet, and it doesn't hurt that situations are slowly improving!
Nomz to the fullest,
Deaj
