Future Living Spaces

I don't know if you guys know, but I love interior design. Actually, I don't know what field it is, but I love organized, cozy living spaces and practical furniture. I can't help but think about what kinds of furniture and color schemes I'll be putting together in the future for my husband (whoever that might be!) and I, but where Jon and I are heading, it sounds like a good place.

His future architectural degree combined with both of our artistic skills and practicality, I think him and I are going to have a gorgeous home before, during, and after we have a family. I know I'm young, but here are just some bedroom designs I'm inspired by!:

I love the practicality of this set up--except I would need high ceilings. It's such a fun space saver that I wouldn't mind it. Of course this would only really be acceptable if the 1/2 floor was reinforced times a thousand and if the closet space was else where.

I totally dig this space and the clean edges of everything. The only thing is I'd be afraid is if stabbed myself with how sharp the edges are, but this would be a dope set up. The only thing I don't like is how low the bed is. I prefer it to be higher. Nonetheless, I like how open and spacious the bathroom is and how it's open to the bedroom in that way but is at the foot of the bed and not awkwardly towards the top where I would be able to see Jon showering or something, haha! Nevermind. it's hard to explain.

I like this setup more because it's definitely a lot cozier! It's simple and neat, but I would definitely incorporate some of the elements of the previous bedroom, like the shelves with a TV on top.

Moving on, here are some furniture items (or whatever they're called) from beds I would love to look into buying.

Definitely digging this bed because of its versatility. Detachable and movable head boards make it easy to move the furniture around it to suit my needs. I also just like the fact that it would contrast from sharp edges and clean lines.

So. Um. Why wouldn't you love this bed. It zips up and you don't have to worry about making it in the morning! Shoot, I'd love this bed right now because I wouldn't have to worry about fixing it, considering the fact that I hardly fix my room everyday, haha! I believe it comes in white/red, charcoal/red, and blue/white, as seen here. I'd opt for the blue and white for sure.

Air. Conditioned. Bed. What else is there to say. If I live in North Hills for the rest of my life, I would hella opt for this cover for the summer. It has a super quiet fan at the foot of the bed, circulates from your head down, and uses extremely low power--$0.24 a day if used for eight hours! Yup, you heard that!

Look forward to more posts like this, especially when I start getting even more excited to move out of my house to go to college. :) All pictures are courtesy of freshome.com.
