Since no one reads this anyway

I'm currently watching Avatar for the third time. Let's talk about what's gone on since I last blogged.

Angelo stole something for the first time. I don't condone stealing at all, but I guess I'm sort of glad he did it. He took a toy from Target tonight and as his layers of lies thickened, the longer my dad lectured him about what he did wrong. It's life, I guess. Angelo's gotta learn somewhere that life isn't gonna hand him everything he wants and there's a consequence to everything--regardless if it's wrong or right.

Anyway, I took my subject tests for my first and last time last Saturday. I registered for Math 2 and U.S. History. I felt like a little kid taking it! When I walked into the class, I swear everyone looked 3-4 years older than me. And I thought I looked old for my age. It didn't occur to me that I'm actually I senior until I sat waiting to be handed the tests. Math 2 was no joke though. If you don't know how to use your calculator for pre-calculus, don't even try it. I ended up staying for three tests instead of two and replaced the Math 2 with Molecular Biology. I know. Molecular Biology. As if I didn't stress out because I wasn't learning anything last school year -_-

Irregardless, I have great aspirations that I will fulfill. I'm officially applying to (in order of priority):
  • University of California, Los Angeles to major in Nursing and minor in Photography
  • California State University of Los Angeles to major in Nursing
  • California State University of Northridge to major in Biology
  • California State University of Long Beach to major in Nursing
  • City University of New York, Hunter to major in Nursing
  • University of California, Irvine to major in Biology
  • San Francisco State University, undeclared? Iono.
  • University of California, San Diego to major in Biology
  • San Diego State University to major in Nursing
Yup, so I'm busy until the end of November filling out applications.

Submerging myself in more responsibilities is the best I can do for myself right now. Dealing with this kind of break up is just too much right now and if I'm not going to have "my rock" as a significant part of my life, then I don't want it at all. I'm in the process of moving on, and I finally sent your stuff back yesterday afternoon. Have a good one.

Other than that, I wanna move on to bigger things. I'm majoring in photography at school and I applied for an internship just a few hours ago. I'm crossing my fingers that I get it and take advantage of the opportunity.

Keep up with me.

  3. Excuseeee me, but I am reading as well LOL.

It's a good thing your dad had that talk with Angelo ( little bro? ) though. A lot of parents now a days would've just shrugged it off, or worse, wouldn't have even noticed how the toy got there. Yep, nothing like a few AP tests to give a little stress to your life.

I must say, there's a lot of personal truth in where you said "Submerging myself in more responsibilities is the best I can do for myself right now." I've got a feeling that this whole new busy and tightly packed schedule will force me to stick to things. And hey! You're majoring in Nursing too!? That's what I'm applying for as well.

  4. DEAAAJ! CSULA's number one most impacted major is Nursing. It's REALLY REALLY hard to get in right now. My friend (class of '07) has been trying to get in since she was a freshman and she has held close to if not had 4.0 every year and still has not been accepted into the nursing program. Just a heads up =x

I got accepted into their 2nd most impacted major, Criminal justice, but I'm a transfer student so that kinda helped too(sorta).
