He was driving down until he was about outside of Carlsbad when bam, he was sandwiched in between to SUVs. He called me during class, and I didn't believe him at first until I saw the pictures. All I could remember having to wait until Mooney was done teaching, hyperventilating, and trying to keep my cool until I could get out of class and talk to him. I called, out of breath and on the verge of tears, but fortunately, he picked up and was fine. Fortunately, him and his friend got out of the accident with no injuries, just a stiff neck and a sore body. Now, they're in the process of going to court with the situation.
You know, it just sucks that stuff like this happens to people who don't deserve. Seriously, I know for a fact that Jon is a great driver considering the fact that I've been in the car with him tons of times, including LA traffic. Nonetheless, he's healing mentally and I just pray that in time he'll be more than okay and able to be behind the wheel again.
Anyway, I cannot WAIT until prom. I don't think I'm going this year, unless Jon is going, but next year, I'm gonna be prepared. I just hope our class plans well and does great things for us!
